SS27-Q1
春夏系列
For SS27, Woodbird® explores Hong Kong business life where all-day meetings, long negotiations and fluorescent-lit office life define the norm. Navigating between corporate rhetoric and polite water cooler conversations, "Civil Union" depicts the contrast between corporate formality and the unspoken social codes that exist between cultures.
Outside the office, partnerships continue through shared etiquette, drifting into late dinners, karaoke lounge chaos, casino invitations and unscripted nights.
Inspired by Asian corp-core aesthetics, office uniforms and the emotional restraint of everyday business life, the collection balances relaxed tailoring, upgraded essentials and uniform-inspired silhouettes with expressive proportions and functional detailing. Reinvented work attire, coordinated sets and refined textures tie the collection together, blending familiar routines with new directions.
In the tension between language and custom, "Civil Union" captures the quiet fatigue of navigating between cultures.
